This roundtable showcases how insurance can be an exciting career, focusing on the niche field of fraud investigation and working with the insurance industry’s own police force – the City of London Police’s Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department (Ifed). Led by the unit’s Detective Chief Inspector, Nik Jethwa, this roundtable will reveal how insurers help disrupt organised crime and protect insurance customers, offering purposeful roles for career starters. The discussion will also explore how UK general insurance can promote these specialist, fraud related jobs more – sharing real stories and visible progression pathways for graduates and school leavers.
