Gemma McWilliam

With nearly two decades of experience in people leadership roles, Gemma McWilliam is the Chief People Officer at HDI UK & Ireland, where she leads the people strategy across the business. Since joining HDI as People Director in 2021, Gemma has been driving talent development and culture throughout the organisation, including leading early careers programmes, leadership development, and operational effectiveness. Gemma was promoted to Chief People Officer in 2024 and is a member of the Executive Board. Before joining HDI, Gemma worked for Zurich Insurance, where she held multiple senior HR roles across project management and business partnering.
