Destination
Insurance

28th January 2027 @ The Minster Building, London

Bringing the Industry Together to Build the Workforce of Tomorrow

Destination Insurance is back for 2027, bringing the insurance industry together to tackle one of its most important challenges: how to build, develop and retain the talent needed for the future.

This year’s event will look beyond traditional recruitment routes, spotlighting new pathways into the sector and exploring how insurance can better engage career changers, veterans, public service professionals, apprentices and the next generation of industry leaders.

Across a packed programme of keynote sessions, panels, roundtables and interactive discussions, delegates will hear fresh perspectives on the changing world of work – including AI, skills gaps, workplace expectations, first-time management, diversity, retention and data-led talent strategy. With collaboration at its core, Destination Insurance 2027 will give the industry space to share ideas, challenge assumptions and identify practical ways to strengthen the sector’s reputation as a place where people can thrive.

Industry Charter & Progress

Industry Charter & Progress

Insurance Times launched the Destination Insurance Talent Charter in October 2025, designing a five-commitment framework to support signatory organisations in the UK general insurance (UKGI) and London markets to nurture diverse, futureproofed and high achieving talent pipelines.

The five commitments that signatories promise to adhere to encompass designing fit for purpose recruitment and hiring practices, collaboration with educational institutions and other market firms or trade bodies, assessing development and promotion routes, as well as attending the annual Destination Insurance Conference.

The charter also has four commitments that Insurance Times has vowed to deliver, relating to sharing regular best practice content and hosting the Destination Insurance Conference.

The Destination Insurance Talent Charter currently has more than 20 signatories from across UKGI, including insurers, brokers, MGAs, service providers and trade associations.

Is your organisation ready to sign and commit to improving talent pipelines in UKGI?
